This was a great podcast! I love the idea about using downtime to teach a crafting class. This is also great marketing for your business. 🙂
I’ve worked in startup marketing my whole career, and when I get a brief moment of downtime (which is too rare), I generally use it to analyze results. I go through email, social and PPC analytics and try to figure out what’s working and what’s not. For example, which types of content are readers engaging with, what times of day/days of the week work best, which offers are people snatching up, which keywords are most effective, etc.
Analyzing results can be mind-numbing, but it’s so important! It’s what allows you to make smart decisions about future marketing efforts. Perhaps a topic for a future podcast?
Yes! Looking at stats is so important. Love this idea!
